All information given is confidential and shall be treated with the terms of the Data Protection Act. Your loan application will be processed securely and shall be used to acquire you , the customer, the loan you have requested. By completing the loan application and sending it, you the customer, agree to the duplication and passing or transference of this information for that purpose.
Methods of contact about your application shall be by phone, using the numbers you provided in your application, by post, using the present address given in your application, by email using the email address you provided in yourn application(if applicable) or SMS text message, using your moblie phone number you provided in your application. Any contact made using the methods as noted above shall only be in connection with your loan application.
All loan applications will be credit checked on receipt. Your application will be automatically rejected if you are found to be bankrupt or are using the services of a debt management company ( includes any company deemed to be servicing your finances). In certain circumstances, the customer will be rejected if an unsatisfactory CIFAS (Credit Investigation Fraud Alert System) warning is received.
Employment must be permanent and you must be contracted to work at least 16 hours, with the same employer, on a weekly basis to qualify for loan acceptance.
Age limits of between 21 years old and 65 years old. The customers age must not exceed 65years at the completion of the loan agreement.
Self employed will be required to provide a minimum of 24 months complete audited accounts. However, individual circumstances will be reviewed in line with the profile and circumstances of the the customer/applicant.
An income and expenditure "ability to pay" assessment will be undertaken prior to the issue of any acceptable loan.
Identification will be required, you will be notified what is required prior to signing the loan agreement. Acceptable forms of identification include, passport, driving license, bank or credit cards with matching current statement, army ID card, works ID with signature and photograph.
The repayment term of the loan agreement can be between 12 months and 120 months, depending on the amount of the loan and whether the loan is secured or unsecured.
Your repayments must be made via direct debit only. Similarly, your employer must also pay you via BACs, to the same account used for your repayments. Your first loan repayment will be due no later than one month from the date of signing/receipt of the loan.
The repayment rate of the loan will vary in relation to the result of the credit check, the amount of loan and the type of loan (secured or unsecured). These terms are dependant on the individual clients criteria, thus will vary from client to client. You will be advised prior to receipt / commencement of the loan as to your repayment schedule based on your profile.
Secured loans are secured on property only. The security can be first, second or third charge on a property and if your house has zero equity, it can still be secured. A secured loan has an arrangement fee which is higher than an unsecured loan, due to the legal nature of a secured loan. The fee charged is added to your loan and you will be advised of the current fee before signing for your loan. Generally, a minimum period of two weeks is required to set up a secured loan.
Mortgage Deposit Loans are secured against your NEW property, not your existing property if already a homeowner. However, for the purpose of your loan application, your current address is used on the loan application. If you put the NEW property address on your application, your credit search will fail. This type of loan is paid directly to your lawyer on the day of purchase of your new home and is secured also on that day. Repayment will commence as in "Your Repayment" section.
Council Purchase Rent Arrears Loan is an unsecured loan. This loan type will enable you to clear any rent arrears you may have and thus enable you to purchase your council house from your council. The loan is paid directly to your council and repayment will commence as in " Your Repayment" section.
THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE SECURING OTHER DEBTS AGAINST YOUR HOME. YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON A MORTGAGE OR ANY OTHER DEBT SECURED ON IT.
Data Protection Act
If you make an application, your details will be held on computer and used in a credit scoring or other automated decision-making process when assessing your application. An enquiry will be made with Credit Reference Agencies, who will record it so that it can be viewed by other agency users. Your information will also be checked with fraud prevention agencies and if fraud is suspecting ("we" or "us") will record this and those details will be shared with other subscribing organisations.
For the purposes of this application you may be treated as financially linked and your application will be assessed with reference to any "associated" records.
If you are a joint applicant or you have told us of some other financial association with another person, you must be sure that you are entitled to:
• Disclose information about your joint applicant and anyone referred to by you.
• Authorise us to search, link or record information at any credit reference agencies about you and anyone referred to by you.
An "association" between joint applicants, and between you and anyone you tell us is your financial partner, will be created at credit reference agencies. This will link your financial records, each of which will be taken into account in all future applications by either or both of you. This will continue until one of you successfully files a disassociation at credit reference agencies.
You authorise us to make all enquiries necessary to verify this information to enable us to consider this application. If you apply for insurance your information will be passed to the administrators and the insurers for underwriting, processing claims handling and fraud prevention.
Your personal data will be treated in confidence and will not be disclosed to any third parties except where permitted by law or where you have given your consent.
